Volunteering

Are you interested in volunteering to help produce this years Bash? The Bash committee is busy planning for this years birthday party, the big event is quickly approaching, and we'd love to have your support! See below for the many ways you and yours can help.

Volunteering Thank Yous

All volunteers who do a 2 hour shift will receive $5 in raffle tickets.

Volunteers who do party set up and take down will have $10 refunded to them.

Here are some of the ways we need your help:

SRL Cleanup

A few days or perhaps the weekend before the Bash we'll be getting people together to do a thorough cleaning and makeover of the space to create an environment more conducive to the intimate and intense activities we enjoy! All hands and backs will be welcome and helpful!

Dungeon Monitors

We expect a lot of intense and exciting play at the Bash and we want to get more experienced monitors out on the floor to share the load and keep things easy and fun for all. If you would like to take a DM shift, please contact Randwulf.

Aftercare Attendees

Rose is dedicating her talents this year to creating a wonderful aftercare area in the back room behind the stage. We'd love to have some people take shifts as attendants to the area to keep things neatened up, supplies refreshed and add to the sensual atmosphere.

Play and Education Space Helpers

Of course we'll also need people throughout the weekend to help with set-up, tear-down, food prep and service, registration, security, and all the behind the scenes actions without which the event would not be possible. If you're interested in helping out in some way, please contact Liz, emeraldead@yahoo.comto get set up.

We need your stuff! Well, temporarily

If you can't take a shift during the weekend, you can still help out. We could use equipment, ice, extension cords, clipboards, air mattresses, towels, bags, and more! If you have some of these items you can donate, or something else you think would be helpful, e-mail Liz at emeraldead@yahoo.com to coordinate.

Hosts and Hostesses

One of the Friends with Benefits extras this year will be a servant assigned to each Friends with Benefits ticket holder - for service and help with things such as fetching drinks and food, storing and fetching bags, i.e., being a general host(ess)/companion. Kinky play only negotiable after your shift and only if you're interested. If this kind of service sounds appealing to you, please contact Jazz at a meeting or in e-mail.

Publicity

One easy way to help is to SPREAD THE WORD! Especially since no tickets will be sold at the door, we need to make sure everyone is aware of the event and all the great opportunities to enjoy and participate in the three days of events. Please, post on your blogs, face your facebook, twitter your tweets, e-mail your friends, and chat it up at your parties!

Come to the Bash!

Of course, we need people to ATTEND! What's the point of all this planning and work if people don't come and enjoy? Your ticket payment will help ensure GWNN remains a vital part of the community, that GWNN can continue to provide great spaces for parties, and (hopefully!) get us set for next years event. And if you want to donate more than the ticket amount, we'd be thrilled to accept and list you as one of our sponsors!

In closing, remember that all volunteers who do a 2 hour shift will receive $5 in raffle tickets. Volunteers who do party set up and take down will have $10 refunded to them.

Thank you for your attention and we at the Bash committee hope you are all getting excited about this years Bash! And continue to check out the Main Bash page for the latest information.
